Root User Handover

One of the final steps of a CTA onboarding is to transfer the ownership of the Root User.

If we are onboarding an account, the ownership will transfer from the customer to Crayon.

If we are offboarding an account, the ownership will transfer from Crayon to the customer.

The following will cover an onboarding. If we are offboarding an account, you can just reverse Customer and Crayon.

Meeting

This process will most likely require a meeting. In that meeting, these three parties must be present:

(1) The customer

(2) The customer representative from Crayon

(3) Customer Cloud Operations

It's important to make sure that the person(s) representing the customer has access to the Root User of the account.

Process

(1) The customer logs into the Root User of the account.

(2) The customer disables MFA.

(3) The customer changes the Root User e-mail address to the address we specify.

(4) Cloud Enablement gives a verification code to the customer, that the customer inputs.
