We are currently moving AWS accounts from the legacy delivery model to the modern delivery model.

The high level explenation on how to move an account is described here.
Prerequisites
A. One or more account(s) on the legacy delivery model
Identifying
Open CloudIQ, and locate your AWS accounts.
If you have an AWS Management Account with both Account name and Company name being 'Master Account', it belongs to the legacy delivery model.

B. One or more dedicated management account(s).
Identifying
Open CloudIQ, and locate your AWS accounts.
If you have an AWS Management Account in addition to the one identified above, it's a part of the new delivery model.

Overview
Managing several AWS accounts across several organizations can get confusing, and the risk of human error increases with complexity. We strongly advise you make a list of what needs to go from where to where.

WA = Workload Account
MA = Management Account

Add direct payment method
This needs to be done, because Amazon needs to ensure a payment method in the interval between moving account between point A and point B.
The cost of this interval usually amounts to a fraction of a cent.

Log in to the WA that is to be moved to the new delivery model.

Go to payment preferences

If there is no credit card under payment methods, add one.
Add payment method
Leave Organization.
While logged in to WA, go to organization and select "Leave this Organization".
Leave this Organization
Invite account
- Log in to the Target MA from the overview.
- Invite WA from Organizations.
Invite account
Accept invitation
- Log in to the WA from the overview.
- Accept the invitation from Organizations.
